About Us

Our Story

We are a mother and son duo, Anne and John Wyles who created the Honeystreet Mill Café in 2018 on the banks of the Kennet and Avon canal,

Having run our own businesses in Honeystreet successfully for the past 20 years, we saw a fantastic opportunity to build a new venture together, utilising our own warehouse space, to benefit both the community and tourists, providing a space to sit, relax and watch the world go by, in the tranquillity of the Wiltshire countryside.
We wanted to create a contemporary café, to provide a community space for both residents and tourists, whether by car, bike, foot or boat.
We are disabled friendly with a “no step” entrance and disabled toilet all on one level.
Our focus has been on sourcing excellent quality local produce to support the smaller businesses within our county, and on increasing employment within the community, hiring local trade people to carry out works on the creation of the café, to actually working within the café as baristas, chefs and bakers, creating a warm and inviting environment for all of our customers.
Alongside serving delicious fresh foods, we have taken an interest in the historical information of the site we are based on, and are keen to inform our customers of Honeystreet’s heritage, as we turn a new page, and write ourselves into its history.

Please visit the Our History page to view the biography of the site We have built our café on the same site as Honeystreet Canal Boats, and The India Shop, stocking Honeystreet Homemade products, so not only will your appetite be satisfied, but your retail needs also.
